Last updated: April 6, 2026 — Updated for compliance with Consumer Rights Act 2015 & Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Customer," "you," or "your") and Milene Borges de Moura trading as The Snug Spot ("we," "us," or "our"), a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, governing your use of The Snug Spot website located at thesnugspot.com (the "Site") and the purchase of any products offered thereon. Our contact email is support@thesnugspot.com.
By completing a purchase, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, have read and understood these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not make a purchase. Merely browsing this Site does not constitute acceptance of these Terms.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Where changes are material, we will provide reasonable advance notice (at minimum by updating the "Last updated" date and, where practicable, by notifying you by email if you have an account). Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of any revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept the revised Terms, you should stop using the Site. Changes will not affect orders placed before the effective date of the change.
We strive to display our products as accurately as possible, including photography, dimensions, materials, and descriptions. However, we cannot guarantee that your screen's display of colours will be exactly accurate. Product images are for illustrative purposes only.
All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (GBP, £) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Prices are subject to change without notice. Shipping fees will be calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error or system error, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders placed at the incorrect price, even if the order has been confirmed.
All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. If a product becomes unavailable after you have placed an order, we will notify you promptly and provide a full refund.
By placing an order on our Site, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products at the stated price. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, errors in product or pricing information, or suspected fraud.
You will receive an order confirmation email after your order is placed. This confirmation does not constitute acceptance of your order — acceptance occurs when your order is shipped and you receive a shipping confirmation.
We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and Apple Pay via Stripe, our secure payment processor. By providing payment information, you represent that you are authorised to use the payment method and authorise us to charge the full order amount.
All transactions are encrypted and processed securely. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
You may cancel an order within 1 hour of placement by contacting us at support@thesnugspot.com. Once an order has been processed for fulfilment, cancellations may not be possible, but our standard returns policy will apply.
Orders are typically processed within 3–4 business days. Estimated delivery times are 4–14 business days depending on your location. These are estimates only — actual delivery times may vary due to factors outside our control, including carrier delays, customs processing, or force majeure events.
We offer free standard shipping on all orders over £75. Orders under £75 are subject to a flat shipping fee of £4.95, calculated at checkout.
We ship throughout the United Kingdom. We also ship to selected European and international destinations — shipping rates and estimated delivery times will be displayed at checkout. International customers may be subject to import duties and taxes levied by the destination country, which are the customer's responsibility.
Risk of loss and title for products pass to you upon delivery to you (or a person you have nominated to receive the goods at your delivery address). We remain responsible for goods that are lost or damaged in transit before they reach you. If your package is lost in transit or arrives damaged, please contact us promptly and we will work with the carrier to resolve the issue, including arranging a replacement or full refund as appropriate.
As a consumer purchasing goods online from us, you have a statutory right to cancel your order within 14 days of the day you (or a person you nominate) receive the goods, without giving any reason. This is sometimes called the "cooling-off period."
To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us clearly before the 14-day period expires by emailing support@thesnugspot.com with your name, order number, and a statement that you wish to cancel. You may also use the model cancellation form set out at the end of these Terms. Once you have notified us of cancellation, you must return the goods to us within 14 days.
On cancellation under this right, we will refund the full purchase price plus our standard outbound delivery charge (but not any premium delivery upgrade you selected) within 14 days of receiving the returned goods, or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier. Refunds are made using the same payment method you used for the original purchase.
You are responsible for the cost of returning goods when exercising this statutory right, unless we have failed to inform you of this obligation — in which case we will bear the return cost. You may be liable for any diminished value of the goods if they have been handled beyond what is necessary to inspect them.
The statutory right to cancel does not apply to: goods made to your specification or clearly personalised; goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly; or goods that have been unsealed after delivery and cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.
In addition to your statutory rights, we offer a 30-day returns policy. If you are not completely satisfied, you may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price, excluding outbound shipping costs.
To be eligible for a return under our policy, items must be:
The following items are not eligible for return under our policy (your statutory rights remain unaffected): personalised or custom-made items, items marked as final sale, and items that have been used, washed, or damaged after delivery.
To initiate a return, email us at support@thesnugspot.com with your order number and reason for return. We will provide return instructions within 2 business days. Under our voluntary 30-day policy, return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is defective or we made an error.
Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund within 5–7 business days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Please allow an additional 3–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement depending on your bank or card issuer.
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If goods you receive are faulty, defective, or not as described, you have the following rights:
Please contact us at support@thesnugspot.com with photos of the defect and your order number. We will arrange a remedy at no additional cost to you.
To exercise your statutory right to cancel, you may (but are not required to) use this form. Simply email it to support@thesnugspot.com:

If a dispute arises, we encourage you to contact us first at support@thesnugspot.com so we can try to resolve it informally. If we cannot resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may refer the matter to the courts of England and Wales.
For consumers in the UK, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, or any other applicable UK consumer protection legislation. You may also refer unresolved complaints to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider or use the UK Government's online dispute resolution service.
If you have any questions, concerns, or complaints regarding these Terms of Service or your experience with The Snug Spot, please contact us:
We take all complaints seriously. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer the matter to an Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider or use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
