One person, one idea — that something as simple as a candle can bring warmth, calm and a little bit of beauty into your home.
The Snug Spot began in 2026 from a home on Sydney Road in South West London with a simple idea: a candle should be more than just a flame. It should be something you feel good about lighting.
After experimenting with different waxes and wicks at the kitchen table, we fell in love with beeswax — the way it burns slowly, the warm natural glow, the subtle honey scent before you even add fragrance. We started hand-pouring candles for friends and family, and the response told us we were on to something.
Today, The Snug Spot offers three signature scents — Vanilla, Chocolate and Cinnamon — each hand-poured in small batches using natural beeswax, cotton wicks and reusable ceramic vessels.
Every candle we make starts with the same question: can we be proud of what goes into it? We use 100% natural beeswax, cotton wicks with no lead, and fragrance oils that we've carefully selected for each scent.
Our ceramic vessels are designed to be kept and reused long after the wax is gone — as planters, pen holders, or simply as something nice on a shelf. We believe a good candle shouldn't end up in a bin.
We're a small operation and we like it that way. Hand-pouring in small batches means we can pay attention to every detail — and we do.
